Housing Projects
Urban planning is a delicate job requiring the integration of team works from sociologists, psychologists, economists, and engineers. These people work hand in hand to produce a Socio-Techno-Economic design that fulfils the requirement of locations in which our projects are based.
Furthermore, our sister company in London,
the International Centre for Technical Research (ICTR) is an NGO registered
with the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (HABITAT program). We
organized the first international conference on Urban Shelter in Developing
Countries in 1987 at Imperial College, London. In that conference, our Chairman
offered different Low-Cost housing designs
for different climates and cultures.
In 1997, we implemented a sample of such housing schemes in two locations in Iran. We have done quite an extensive study of different locations all over the world, particularly the tropical zones, North Africa and the Middle east.
